Kay but also? 👀👀👀 Do you think you'll ever share a screenshot of your TAV from bg3? Bc I truely enjoy all the unique characters ppl come out with, names backgrounds, everything?
This is such a boring answer, but my Tav is literally just me 😭
Tumblr media
I know a big component of DnD is to play as a made-up character, but since there's a bunch of options for customization in the game, I wanted to see if I could make a character that looks like me and I got surprisingly close!
Fittingly, my plan was also to play my first run as if I had been isekai'd into FaerĂťn, and pick the dialog options that were closest to what I would have said myself if I had been in those situations
But anyways, super sweet of you to ask, I'm really sorry for the boring answer though 😅

a Small act of Kindness Goes a Long Way— Abyss Razor x gn! reader
Tumblr media
summery: A small act of kindness can go a long way when it comes to Abyss.
tw: bullying (?)
a/n: This isn't good, trying to get out of my writers block/just wanted to get something out.

All you had done was give him a spare quill, you didn’t think much of it. Although you didn’t like giving people spare quills since you’d never get them back, you found yourself parting with the feathered pen. A small action really, and you thanked him when he gave it back to you. So why was he now defending your honor? He barely knew you after all!
You knew of him, Abyss Razor, a cursed student that held the evil eye. You never really thought much of it. You didn’t get why people shunned him (besides from being a part of the Magia Lupus). You knew magic was everything, it was what ran the world after all, but who cares if you can’t access it for a short amount of time? Although you wouldn’t wish to be his enemy. Due to your beliefs surrounding his evil eye, you had shown him a kindness few, if any, had ever shown him before. Which was something you didn’t fully realize.
So when a group of rude students started to mock you, you hadn’t expected the masked student to step up for you. Honestly, you were just going to continue walking, ignoring them would typically shut them down since they didn’t get the reaction they wanted, but Abyss seemed to have something else in mind.
“I would refrain from making such remarks about them,” Abyss stated, standing confidently in front of the group. “I don’t wish to fight you, but if you continue, I will have no other choice.” You blinked in awe at the sight, you couldn’t wrap your head around why he was doing this. You talked to him once, so why was he willing to risk a fight when the group didn’t even really say much anyways? It was an unremarkable insult anyways.
“S-sorry,” One of the guys stuttered, backing away. “We were just messin’ around.” You couldn’t see Abyss’ face, but you had a feeling he didn’t take too well to that.
“It’s fine,” You finally stepped up, hesitatingly reaching out to tug on Abyss’ sleeve. You pulled your hand away when he tensed, looking down at you. It was intimidating, staring into the inky abyss where his eyes should be, but you didn’t waver. “Really, they’re not worth it,” You finished, fiddling with your fingers. That seemed to get him to pull away, glancing one last time at the group that scrambled away.
There was a brief awkward silence, so you decided to speak up first, “Thank you, but you didn’t need to do all that.”
“I apologize if I overstepped any boundaries,” Abyss apologized, bowing his head. “I couldn’t just stand by when they dishonored you so carelessly.”
“Why?” It came out before you could stop yourself. You regretted asking when Abyss stood there silently, the mask giving him a haunting look. Unknown to you, Abyss felt a bit embarrassed about his reasoning. Even though kindness was something rarely bestowed upon him, he knew it was a bit silly to admit he cared greatly for you after you merely lent a quill to him. Yet you asked for a reason, and he would tell you, no matter how silly it may seem.
“...because you have been kind to me.”
You hadn’t expected that. You blinked wide eyed, unsure how to respond. The only time you had interacted was when you lent that quill…did it really mean that much to him? Once again, you were unsure how to respond.
“Well…thank you, again.”
If such a small action mattered that much to him, if no one else would care about him, then you’d take matters into your own hands.

Could you write a fluffy smut where reader has mummy issues who cancelled on her for taking her bra shopping and Larissa offered to go with her and helps her pick out the perfect set but then it ends with smut idk you chose :)
Mummy Issues
Prompt is shown above. :)
word count: 3.6k includes: mommy issues, public-ish sex, discussion of trauma, fingering, fluff, mommy kink, praise kink
Your therapist is actually the one who suggested you ask your mom to go shopping with you to find a bra set for an upcoming performance. You’re not saying this specific reparenting technique doesn’t work, but there was no way in hell your mother was going to follow through. Still, you tried anyway. You were vulnerable anyway.
You’re exhausted from parenting your own parent, always considering other’s needs before your own. Fresh out of university and you still have never had anyone else take care of you for a change. The shopping idea was intended to be a low-stakes role reversal where your mom would step up to the task at hand.
Earlier that morning you texted your mom to confirm the meet up in Burlington. You never heard back, which wasn’t uncommon. Since you were coming all the way from Montreal, though, you expected some sort of acknowledgement. You even texted her as you were driving over to no avail. Downtown Burlington was not where you would have picked to shop if your mother was not involved. It was close to where she lived, and she loved the hustle and bustle of Church Street. To you it always seemed like a hot mess. Now you were in the middle of that mess alone.
After waiting in your car for 15 minutes, it doesn’t take a genius to know you got stood up once again. You contemplated just driving back right then and there. This wasn’t exactly something you wanted to do alone, yet none of your friends are in the area any longer. They all had moved away. Overwhelmed by the sheer fuckery of nothing ever working out, you were frustrated and tired. You consider breaking down into tears over the wasted trip and the years of parental neglect represented by this one instance.
The only person who you can think of still in the area is Ms. Weems. You suppose it’s Principal Weems now (thank you social media for that one). Is it weird to invite a former teacher you once had a massive crush on to go shopping? It’s been so long that it would be nice to catch up. You’re not going to lie, you were yearning to see the older woman. Impulsively, you dial the number she gave you for emergencies back when you attended Nevermore. To your surprise, a firm but sweet voice answers—the same voice that you’d fantasize about in your dorm when your roommate was out. You try to control your voice, but too many conflicting emotions make you croak and sniffle a bit when identifying yourself.
“My dear, is everything alright? And, please, it’s Larissa.” A tone of worry was inflected back to you by the other woman.
In an attempt to dodge the question about your wellbeing, you respond, “I’m actually back in Burlington, trying to find an outfit for an upcoming performance. Any chance you’re free?” You tried to sound as nonchalant as you could.
Larissa returned with, “Oh, I don’t wish to intrude, but it was very kind of you to think of me.” Shit, apparently too nonchalant…
You reflect on all the times Larissa had comforted you back at Nevermore. She was protective of all her students, but it truly meant the world to you. You had always thought it was just another day, another student problem for her. There were many times you were neglected or mistreated by your mother that Larissa was privy to back then. Knowing this, as a Hail Mary, you softly let slip out, “I was supposed to meet my mom…”
Without missing a beat, Larissa’s voice turned tight, “Where are you?” You glance at the cross streets, give her your location, and let her know the specific store you’re at. She concludes, “I’ll be there in 20 minutes, love.”
Your heart flutters at the familiar pet name.
—
You’re already occupying the changing room when Larissa arrives. She calls out for you, and you crack open the door to let her into the small fitting area.
You are met with the most comforting hug. Larissa stroked your hair and squeezed you tightly. The last time an embrace has felt so all-encompassing was also from Larissa, which is a bit embarrassing. You guess you just don’t have a lot of good huggers in your life, and it felt so nice to be held close by someone. You breathe out a long sigh, as if all your troubles are muted by the closeness of the woman in front of you. Her scent replaces the air in your lungs, and you consider how nice it would be to never end this embrace.
When she pulls back and sees that your eyes are slightly red and puffy, she bends down towards you to cup your face with both of her hands. All that comes out of her mouth is “Oh, sweetie.” You give her a half-hearted smile in response. Her hands immediately begin stroking your face, brushing hair from your eyes, and occasionally resting her thumb and index finger at your chin. This. This is what being cared for is; the realization hits you and radiates out through your body.
“I’m here for whatever you need. Would you like to debrief about your mother? Or carry on with what’s needed here?” Larissa gestures to the garments in the fitting room without taking her eyes off of you.
Noticing how close she still is to your face makes your head dizzy, and you stutter, “I-I need s-something to wear under a strapless dress that won’t show during a piano performance.”
Reassuringly, Larissa states, “We can do that. You know I have an eye for those sorts of things. We’ll have you sorted in no time.” She then moves her hands to your upper arms and rubs them before turning to examine the items already set out.
“Piano? It’s no wonder. You always played brilliantly at Nevermore,” Larissa continued elatedly, brandishing a supportive smile. You think back to times when you’d be practicing in Nevermore’s music auditorium alone and feel a comforting presence at the back of the concert hall near the doors. You always assumed it was your imagination, not daring to get your hopes up that someone cared enough to support you or cheer you on. Your mother made sure of that…
You feel so much more at ease with Larissa here. Now that you think about it, she has always provided stability and nurtured you. You remember that she would sometimes give you rides to Jericho when the only Nevermore vehicle at the time was in use. You credit a lot of your success with the piano to her too, because she would encourage you to do open mics at the Weathervane and signed you up to play at a parade that Jericho had every couple of years.
Yes, you felt indebted to the tall, gorgeous woman before you. The years since you’ve seen her have only emphasized her beauty. Her demeanor is both commanding and protective. It’s as if she is more comfortable in her skin than before; there is a sureness in her stance that is nice to see and that you wish you had. Even though you always considered her fashionable, her clothes now exude a kind of pride and carefully crafted style. Larissa’s perfectly-coiffed updo accentuates the smooth, supple skin of her neck before disappearing beneath her expertly tailored dress.
These thoughts invoke a light blush from your cheeks, and you know you can’t speak about your crush on her in the past tense. Your immediate dry mouth while watching her is proof that it never went away. Now you’re wondering if you shouldn’t have sought her out to assist in purchasing the perfect underwear, especially because you see her turn towards the garments and an emotion flashes across her face when she realizes the kinds of items you’ve picked out and need assistance with.
You’ve always liked the idea of dressing up underneath your formal outfit. To you, it made it feel more special, gave you extra confidence. For instance, knowing a sexy lace set was underneath your clothes made you feel as if you had a fun secret. Though, you realize it’s probably inappropriate to expect Larissa to help with this. If she felt uncomfortable, she was hiding it well. You tried to continue on as if everything was normal, even though doing so felt impossible.
When Larissa sits on the small ledge provided in the dressing room, you emphasize, “Thank you again for coming. I just drove from where I am now in Montreal.”
Realizing you should continue trying items on, you reach to unbutton your shirt when you hear, “You poor thing! Have you eaten?”
At this, you scrunch your face and shake off your blouse. “I’ll get something after this.” So many conflicting emotions swirl inside of you. You’re conflicted at whether to relish in the desperately needed maternal care or to shrug it off as a defense mechanism.
You begin to unhook a bra from its hanger and feel like you should ask, “Do you mind?” Larissa interprets that you’d like to change from your bra into the new one, waving her hand dismissively and saying, “Go ahead” in a delicate manner.
Without looking too awkward and challenged, you attempt to put on the new bra while taking  your current bra off in quick succession. It would have worked if the one you were trying on actually fit you. You had a hard time getting it on, and once you did, your breasts spill out of the top half, giving you the illusion of having four boobs. With you panting from the endeavor, you and Larissa begin to laugh at how silly it looks. You’re surprised that you’re not mortified, but instead having fun.
With some of your own tension released, you turn away from Larissa and towards the mirror to decide if you like the bra enough to go up a cup size. As you do this, what you don’t see is Larissa’s curious gaze, as if she is wishing she could reach out and touch the pillowy softness of your breasts.
“So, this one is NOT it.” Your playful declaration pulls Larissa from her lustful thoughts. It’s short-lived, though, since you immediately begin to try on more items. This time you choose a deep maroon matching set, and you turn slightly away from Larissa in order to pull up the bottoms over your current underwear. Because of the limited space in the room, your ass accidentally winds up in Larissa’s face. As if it is all in your head, you pretend the enclosed space is not rife with sexual tension.
“That’s gorgeous,” Larissa coos moments later with her hand reaching out. With both hands, she rubs along the intricate lace detail at your hip bones, and it feels as if your skin is set ablaze. You fight the urge for your breath to turn heavy and wanting.
Even if all of the tension is in your head and one-sided, it doesn’t change the fact that you’ll need to stop trying things on soon. Well, at least stop trying on bottoms, because you can feel yourself getting wet under Larissa’s stares and encouragement.
“That fits you so very well.” “I love this on you.” “It looks absolutely spectacular.” “You look stunning.”
Not to mention Larissa has taken a hands-on approach to her support. After briefly touching your hips, she began dragging her long fingers along bits of your exposed skin when she was discussing an area. There’s no way she doesn’t notice the goosebumps that arise each time her touch lingers. At least being half naked in the chilly changing room is an excuse for the tight buds of your nipples.
The juxtaposition between this experience and what your mother would have had in store for you is dizzying. No doubt she would have critiqued your strong shoulders or the cellulite on your thighs. It would have ended in a fight, you just know it. However, everything out of Larissa’s mouth was refreshing and electrifying. Maybe even healing at times?
The final set you had picked out was a delicate mesh thong bodysuit that was almost entirely see-through. You hesitated for a moment, wondering if you should you stop trying things on. Larissa must have noticed, because she uncrossed and crossed her legs a few times before voicing, “Go on, honey.”
Embracing the process sheepishly, you slip into the item and turn away from Larissa to look at yourself. You study the outline of your breasts in the mirror, trying to determine if the subtle texture of the mesh would be noticeable under your dress. Or would the distance between the stage and the seats obscure the texture?
You then see that Larissa seems to be studying them too, except her eyelids are hooded and her pupils are dilated. Almost in slow motion you watch her involuntarily lick her lips. Your heart beats quicker, a flash of heat moves through your body, and you suppress a low moan.
Your eyes meet Larissa’s in the mirror.
You couldn’t say who initiated what next. Only that you were on Larissa’s lap, straddling her, while her hands were on you, roaming over your body and settling on your hips. Your mouths are working in tandem with each other, and you welcome her red lipstick staining your lips and neck. Your hands go to Larissa’s face—one cupping it possessively and the other slinking back to grip the nape of her neck. You want desperately to wreck her perfect hair, turning it into physical evidence of your connection and closeness.
Both you and Larissa can feel the heated energy building between you as you frantically attempt to take off the mesh bodysuit. Before you can, though, Larissa steadies your hands and inquires breathlessly, “Is this okay, darling?” Her eyes search your own, and you can make out desire and worry in her eyes.
You have to take a moment to let what she is asking sink in. This feels like such a natural (if not slightly expedited) progression of your feelings for Larissa. You wonder if there is more underlying her question. You know you two will have to debrief your feelings but right now the hormones raging through your body make it hard to focus too much on the worry or questions around if this should be happening. Instead, your body wiggles on top of hers, begging to continue the friction of your hips against her. You involuntarily whine and nod. “I want this, Larissa.”
Seeing your need and the sureness in your gaze, Larissa regains her composure and utters, “Shh, let me take care of you.”
—
Larissa rivals your intensity with her own fierce need. Her kisses are passionate yet soft. Her hands are gentle but unyielding in how they explore your body once the mesh bodysuit is off. With her every caress and tender nip over your skin, you feel so wholly wanted, cared for, and desired. A fire underlies Larissa’s behavior, as if each touch begets more longing and thirst for you. At the same time, you couldn’t have anticipated the fervent need you had to be validated and devoured by this woman.
Once she has marked your neck with her lipstick and teeth, Larissa moves downward to take one of your fleshy, beaded nipples in her mouth. Barely audible to you, she breathes out, “Absolutely beautiful” before flicking it with her tongue and causing you to arch your back.
One of Larissa’s hands runs over your thighs, teasing you and drawing circles and zigzags on your delicate skin. You can’t help but whimper in need every single time her fingers get closer to where your thighs meet. After almost resigning to her pace and authority, she trails up to cup your arousal. Your legs twitch with the sudden contact, and you emit a gasp.
“You’re so wet for me.” Pleased, Larissa enunciates every word, drawing the words out and reveling in how at her mercy you are. “It’s intoxicating.”
Unable to withstand not taking action, you press your lips against hers roughly, trying to close any distance between your bodies. Breathless after many kisses, you move to suck on her neck and whisper, “Larissa.”
“Please.”
Only after this plea does Larissa finally dip a finger into you. It doesn’t feel like nearly enough. You would usually appreciate a sexual partner pacing themselves, but the need for her to fill you is overpowering. You wriggle your hips back and forth impatiently and breathlessly request, “More.”
Larissa delighted in your clear hunger for her, fully intending to give you everything you want. She eases in another finger past her second knuckle before adding a third finger once she realizes how slick and open you are for her. You unintentionally bite down on her shoulder, not expecting to get what you want without more begging.
You couldn’t have imagined how good her fingers feel inside you. And you absolutely had imagined it. You remember pretending your fingers were hers after late nights riding back with her from Jericho. Or the time she gave you her coat on a chilly night and forgot to get it back, so you ended up masterbating to her scent surrounding you. Okay, you’re not super proud of that one, but at the time it felt world-changing the desire you had. Her fingers working inside of you now are of a different caliber. In fact, you never understood the metaphor of sex as worship or religion, but being on top of Larissa with her half-lidded eyes roaming your body changes things. You want to make her feel a sliver of how good you do right now.
Your hands begin to grab at the fabric of her top, desperate to remove her clothing and pleasure her as she is inside of you. Larissa lets out a low, throaty chuckle before asserting, “Ah, ah, ah. I want to focus on you, love. Let me please you.”
Her interjection just makes your heart swell more for her, and noticeably your noise level swells, as well. You’re not used to undivided attention and care—someone wanting your happiness above all else. It’s more erotic than you could have ever anticipated. At the increase in breathiness and moans, one of Larissa’s hands clamps over your mouth while the other continues to pump in and out of you. Out of the corner of your eye you can see the reflection in the dressing room mirror of you riding her long fingers completely nude while she is fully clothed. The sight makes your knees weaker, and you groan, “Oh, fuck.”
Larissa’s whispers and affirmations throughout only brought you closer and closer to release. She has to know how her words are affecting you. Her hot breath over and over in your ear, inching you towards the edge.
“I’ve got you, sweetie.” “I’ll give you anything you want.” “Shh, stay quiet for me.” “That’s a good girl.”
You feel yourself tighten around Larissa’s fingers, becoming more breathless and spacey as she presses the pads of her curled fingers inside you toward your pelvic bone, urging you to come undone. So, you do. Your entire body tenses, and you feel as if you will crumble under the anticipation and pressure. Tingles shoot down your arms and legs in waves, threatening overstimulation.
Larissa’s fingers still, and she presses you close to her, clutching you tightly. After a moment of your eyes being closed and your breathing slowly relaxing, Larissa asks you to bear down with your pelvic floor muscles. Confused, you obey. She gingerly removes her fingers from inside you, and your body aches at the loss. She proceeds to lean forward with you still on her lap, wrapping her arms around you and begins to rock you.
“You did so well, my love,” Larissa murmurs while stroking your hair away from your damp forehead. “You were so good for me.”
You can’t remember the last time someone was so attentive and sweet with you after sex—if ever. You also have never felt like an exposed live wire due to euphoria either, so… Her thoughtfulness makes your heart swell, and you’re hoping it’s not just due to the hormones flooding your body right now. As if you can’t contain the disbelief and gratefulness, you blurt in awe, “How are you real?”
Larissa pulls away from the embrace, searching your eyes for understanding. “I ask myself the same question about you.” At that, you rest your forehead against Larissa’s, exhausted and happy.
After sensing your heart rate has stabilized, wanting to make sure you go to the bathroom and hydrate becomes Larissa’s next priority. Her voice breaks the comfortable silence. “Let’s get you some food now. I’m sure you’ve worked up an appetite.”
You two pick up the items in the messy dressing room and sheepishly leave the clothes on the courtesy rack outside. A grin blooms over your features as you think about how being stood up by your mom feels like such a nonissue now. Even the dilemma of what underwear to wear for your upcoming performance seems trivial. Walking out of the store with Larissa’s lipstick all over you, you decide that you won’t wear anything under your dress, especially not if Larissa is in the audience.

Christmas of Closure - Day 5
I forgot who asked for this one, but thank you for reminding me that this exists! I've missed this story!
Anyways, here's some Twilight with the princesses!
Day 1 | Day 2 | Day 3 | Day 4 | Day 5 (you are here!) | Day 6 (eventually)
Update under the cut!
-
Much of the day passes with little interaction between the heroes.
Four does not return to the room the others linger in, and though Twilight and Sky do, it’s only for so long before apparently Hilda determines it fit to give them space of their own, but properly this time. This time they are given rooms. All in the same hall as their brother, even including the one they’d sort of picked out for themselves.
It doesn’t slip past Twilight though that they are arranged throughout the hall. Maybe he wouldn’t have noticed, except Sky is given the room directly beside that of the vet, and Hyrule the one across. The rest, he can’t exactly name a reason why, but he knows those two were intentional.
It’s nice though, having space. Much as he loves his brothers, they’re a lot to deal with on the best of days, and those recently are anything but that. It’s been a long time since he’d had any space to claim for himself, never mind one he could shut others out of. It is odd to him though, especially after Ravio’s outburst yesterday, that his is the one across from Sky’s and beside Hyrule’s rooms; the third closest. Maybe it’s because he’d helped, or at least shown he could. After all, the rancher muses, wincing, it’s not as though there is anyone close to the ornery teen, so perhaps it only made sense to the princess to place someone who could be helpful nearby, rather than the rest of the heroes.
Whatever the reason, given all that’s happened, he’s mostly content to stay in his room once he’s shown it. The only real reason he’d have to leave was if he was needed, and as there’s no knock save that of some servant dropping off food, the rest of the day is spent is silence.
  It’s unnerving.
Lying in the bed offered, he’s struck with the fact that he actually hasn’t been properly alone since meeting the rest of the heroes, and while it’s a welcome thing, it’s also hollow. He’s still pissed with the rest, knows full well that if one of them was around they’d break into a fight, but it’s also so strange to be alone again. Again though, he doesn’t want to be near the rest!
Settling in, pulling the blankets over his head, he huffs.
Now he understands why Hyrule had chosen to haunt the door.
 -
He’s not asleep too long before there’s a tap on his door.
Blankets fly free and away, but he doesn’t, instead staring out into the blackness of the room. His ears must be tricking him, no? Why would-? Yet there it is again, a tapping, hesitant but there.
  The rancher sits up.
Is it one of his brothers? A servant? He hasn’t a clock on hand (or Time, who they would usually just ask) but shouldn’t people be…asleep?
But if they’re not asleep, then they have to be awake for some reason or another, and he might as well get up and just ask instead of sitting there all night long wondering and waiting for them to go away.
The floor is cold as he crosses it, and he half regrets not grabbing for his fur. He’d forgotten what it was like to stay in any sort of castle like building, and he could be wrong, but he swears Lorule is just a bit colder than Hyrule was. Definitely more so than in Ordon, where sleepwear as a concept is near laughable for how warm most nights are. As is, he very much wishes he’d grabbed something even a bit more concealing, his shirt maybe, to throw on, especially when he opens the door and finds not one, but two princesses looking up at him.
He thought it was one of the heroes. He never would have guessed it would be the two girls.
“Yer majesties,” he lacks cap or the room to bow, so a quick touch to the forehead seems appropriate. The last few times he’d forgotten, mostly because worry or tension filled the air, and while they’re not exactly absent now, it’s the least he can do as a show of respect considering…everything else.
“Hero of Twilight,” Hilda responds, gaze flat but ears twitching slightly. “May we have a word?”
“Of course.” He opens the door, because, well, it wouldn’t do to have the stand in the hall would it? Still, it feels odd, letting to girls in, and he’s careful to leave the door open, just in case. These are ladies after all and he wouldn’t want people talking at all, especially their idiot captain. More for their sake than his own, but Ulli didn’t raise no rake.
It’s a decent sized room, at least as far as he’s concerned, although on the smaller side for a castle. He’s gotten the impression they’re in an out of the way hall, and not one of the sort usually used for guests. Not that he minds at all, but it does feel rather… odd, especially with having only the bed to offer as seating. Which he doesn’t do, because that would feel wrong, and odd, so he just sort of… stands there.
The two princesses do the same, hands folded primly before themselves until they almost look like actual reflections of each other, save the little things like hair and colors and all that. The only real major difference, at least in his eyes, is the expressions on their faces. Zelda’s is more pinched, Hilda’s more authoritative, although less then the times before.
  “It’s about Link,” Zelda starts.
He nods. He probably could have guessed. They wouldn’t have any other reason to talk to him anyways, although the words, and their tone, do make worry stir up all over again. “Is he alright?” Only respect has him not turning and immediately looking to the vet’s room, “did something happen again? If so-”
A gloved hand raises, the darker haired of the two girls answering before he can finish. “He is sleeping. Poorly, but that is to be expected.”
The urge to ask if he can check, all the same, rises, but he bites it down. He hasn’t the right after all. The only reason he’s been to see Legend was because he’d had knowledge they needed, not because the vet had wanted him there or anyone had thought it the best thing to do. Ravio had made that clear; he was their last resort, only there because they needed someone, anyone, who could help the injured hero.
Trust isn’t easily earned, and with the vet he feels that trust lost may be lost forever. As was, he’d barely been offered any before, Ordonia only knows what it will look like now, once Legend’s himself again.
If he’s ever himself again, a dark voice in his head whispers.
Aloud though, a softer voice speaks. “You mentioned knowledge,” the darker princess’s eyes are intense as they meet his, searching, head ever so slightly on one side as she watches him, something unreadable in the pinch of her brows and purse of her lips. “That you’d studied darker magic.”
“Never for any ill intent, I assure you, ma’am.” He’s quick to clarify.
  “Why then?”
It’s…. It’s not something he’d wanted to talk about. Sky had asked, in a way, but, despite everything, the other had accepted rather easily when he’d said he didn’t want to talk about it. He still doesn’t, but he’s not sure exactly how accepting of that the two princesses will be, especially with Legend’s well-being on the line and he being part of the cause of that.
The rancher winces, hand trailing for his neck, gaze wanting to flick away but knowing- Minda’s voice sharp in his head, how that might be taken. “There was an outbreak in my home-town when I was a young thing. It- it weren’t purty, an’ I’d hoped to maybe learn why it happened, or maybe how to fix it.”
“Did you?” The expression in the lighter princess’s face is more easily readable then her counterpart; worry, concern, maybe even pity.
“No ma’am.” He tries for a hint of a smile all the same. “It was fixed though, jist, not by me.”
Red eyes trail over him, slowly, “understandable. You are no mage after all.”
  “No, ma’am.”
  “But you know about magic.”
“Yes, ma’am. Some.” He’s confused, although he tries not to show it. They’ll tell him what they want, when they want. That’s how royals are. After all, he’s had a dark and light princess of his own to teach him as much, and he knows where asking questions leads to, and that’s usually being ignored while they talk to each other instead.
Similarly, both girls turn to each other, exchanging some series of expressions and likely underlying thoughts, but he’s blind to what most of it means, instead standing there awkwardly and wondering what his chances are of crossing the room to his discarded shirt and tunic without getting stared at are. Probably not high, but he daren’t interrupt, and considering they’re here, he knows they’ll be saying something to him sooner rather than later.
He’s right too, for its only another moment or so before Hilda is turning to him again, and once more, he sees that flicker he’s seen twice before, that glimpse of brief uncertainty as crimson eyes level him. “You know how to shift back from a beast form, and into one, yes?”
“Yes,” he nods, finally settling on crossing his arms in order to best do something with his hands, and preserve some sort of warmth. Loosely though, so as to not look threatening. He’s well aware how it could be taken if he’s not careful, which he usually doesn’t mind, but wouldn’t bode well at all around here.
Ravio had threatened to have him put out like a dog if he misbehaved, and while he’s not entirely sure that wasn’t just emotion taking over and speaking, he’d rather not risk it. He’s never been to Lorule after all, and he’s not keen on learning the country at the moment. Even just the castle seems quite enough, if not too much, at this time.
“Could you teach Link?” Zelda asks, face pinching up in impatience and unsurprisingly, concern. Because of course she would be concerned, this is her brother they’re talking about, but also-
  “Pardon?”
  “Can you teach him?”
Twilight blinks, startled. He’s not sure what he had expected them to have to say to him, this whole night-time visit coming as a surprise, but…. “Me?”
Hilda nods, sharply. “You are the only one who has displayed any sort of understanding as to his situation, any sort of familiarity.” One gloved hand fists in her heavy skirt. “Prince Link requires help as he adjusts to all that has happened, and while Princess Zelda and myself are fully willing to offer our assistance, our own knowledge is quite limited in these respects; there are some things we simply do not know. But you do.”
It’s got to be a royals thing, the way that heavy eyes bore into those they fix on. Blue and crimson both hold his own, watching, intent, focused, and more terrifyingly; the slightest bit of hope touches those two tired faces, like he’s some answer to a prayer they hadn’t dared to breathe.  The expectation is heavy, and strong as even he is, he’s not sure he can carry it without faltering.
But it’s also a promise. A chance. It’s a way to help, to atone for what he’d done. It’s a chance to see the vet for himself, to make sure he’s okay.
Yes, he’s got a protege already, yes, he barely has a handle on teaching Wild anything. But this is different; this is helping someone learn to live again with something that is beyond their control, but within his to help. It’s heavy, yes. He’s not that strong, yes. But Legend needs someone, and Twilight will be darned if he turns his back this time.
His silence though must be read otherwise, because Zelda sighs and Hilda’s eyes slip away, downwards, voice softer this time, slower, less clipped. “You’re the only light being who’s handled dark magic without corruption before. I understand what we ask may seem-”
  “I’ll help.”
Blue and red rise to meet midnight.
“This is our fault,” he sounds again, echoing the words that have been on the tongues and minds of all of them since it all began. “We did this, an’ we ought to be the ones bearin’ the consequences.”
  “Link isn’t-”
“Link-” and Ordonia help him, it’s still hard to use that name on another, “-is my team-mate- my friend if he’s still willin’ to call me that. He doesn’t deserve to face all this, but he has to, he’s stuck with it, fer better or worse, so I might as well pull my own and do what I can to make that easier for him.” And there’s no smiling on this, no assurance he can give, just the plain bare truth as he meets those heavy eyes. “I can’t promise I won’t mess up again, or that I’ll do everything I ought, or even that I can keep my temper with him all the time-” and despite expectations, Zelda cracks a tiny smile towards the floor at that, although Hilda looks none too impressed as she stares at him, “-but I want to try. It’s the least I can do.”
Dark painted lips purse with a small nod. “Excellent.”
Zelda, in contrast, just stares at him, doesn’t speak, doesn’t answer, doesn’t really make any expression either. It’s uncanny, and all the more so for her similarity to her brother.
“It will be some time before he is recovered fully, but should it be required, we might send for you if he needs help.”
“I’ll be here,” because where else would he be? “Jist….” and it’s been bothering, so while he’s not sure if he has a right to ask, if he really wants to know, he still speaks, “are you sure it’s alright? Yer- Ravio didn’t seem fond of my bein’ near him.”
This time it’s red turning to blue for answer and the light princess sighing, wincing really, like the very question pains her. “My beloved brother has-” a huff, a twitch of long ears, “Link is afraid of dogs.”
“Which is not to be shared nor mocked,” Hilda affirms quickly, gaze darting, but easing at the nod he gives immediately.
Both girls relax some when he says nothing of it.
“You’ve seen it, how small that form is,” the lighter speaks again. “Even hylian though, he’s been hunted. He hides it best he can, but-”
But he’d still known Legend was hesitant near Wolfie, near avoidant at times. The first he’d made to have contact was back the same day as both their secrets had been spilled to the other. He hadn't thought much of it then, but it makes sense, he supposes, even if it does sting a small part of himself, be it out of further guilt or more sympathy. “I see.”
“We would not have asked,” Hilda murmurs, now much softer, gaze the same, “except for how you handled everything before, this morning.”
  “I jist-”
“He calmed,” where one softens the other firms, Zelda’s voice stronger now against the stone of the room, almost ringing back but for lack of volume, although not force. “Say what Ravio might, but Link doesn’t do that with anyone he doesn’t trust. He calmed in your presence, and let you keep him close when he was vulnerable, confused, and no doubt scared. Regardless of your actions, and that of your companions, he doesn’t remember any of it enough to see you as a threat or enemy.” She has Sky’s eyes, he finds himself thinking, turned on him with that same strained, searching pain he’d seen from the skyloftian earlier in the day, standing in the hall outside of their vet’s door. “That may change, or perhaps not, but for now, for his sake, we’re willing to offer you the same if you help him.”
It’s not as though there’s any real choice, or real deliberation. There’s doubt- concern, yes, but regardless of who, or how, or where, or when, this is a fellow hero, a brother if anyone still would think to call them that, and Twilight will and has ridden through fire for his little brothers. Doing it for another- doing far less- is only natural.
“Just give a call if you want me, or if he does. I’m here.”
  “Thank you.”
“Nothing to thank me for,” he almost feels he ought to bow to the hylian princess, “it’s the right thing, plain and simple. I’m just glad you’re willing to give me the chance.”
That face, so like their vet’s, yet softer, sweeter, twists up, tension in proud shoulders and tightly clasped fingers. “We’re not, but Link is, and somehow, between the four of us,” another glance between the two royals, “he’s always been the wisest on these matters.”

Hi there! This is probably a stupid question, but it's been bugging me for a while.
My question is about the very beginning of the series, when Hanako swallows the mermaid scale to make Yashiro (mostly human)
He explained to her before that the scales are called matchmaking scales because they not only link souls, but they share the curse together. And that she would still have some fish-like traits when splitting the curse between two people.
So here's my question: If Hanako is able to lessen the effects of the curse by swallowing the scale, does that mean he may also have fish-like traits too? I know this is never shown or mentioned, and the most likely answer is it had no effect on him because he's an apparition. But since swallowing the scale still linked their souls and lessened the effects on Yashiro, I can't help but feel that the curse must've become split between them so that Yashiro could become human, and Hanako has some traits from it that he doesn't show.
But what do you think? If this question/theory sounds stupid, plz ignore haha. I really enjoy your content and wanted your perspective on this, as you're great with deciphering all the mysteries of tbhk. So I dont want to waste your time. Either way, thanks for reading!!
Hello!!! ohh dear, it's not a stupid question, it's okay, your question is quite interesting and I thought a lot about this issue with Hanako, they share the mermaid curse, but why isn't Hanako directly affected like Nene?
I never talked about this on the blog because I had no clue initially how this would coherently connect with any deduction, but now we have a glimpse of what might be happening.
The mermaid is a very important factor here, besides her sealing their destinies, this connection between them allows Nene to see Amane's past and even future, in addition, the connection of fate must do something very important in both of their lives, it can completely change his destiny (as it did once).
This importance of the scale and the mermaid's connection suggests that it is extremely important to the overall story, so, considering this, how can Hanako lessen the effect of Nene's curse?
I've been wondering lately if the entity has any direct connection to the mermaid, because everything that involves the entity is related to water.
In the red house, you see those sacrificed souls on the other side of the window asking Mitsuba and Kou to escape, and we see air bubbles coming out of their mouths, suggesting that they were submerged in water.
Tumblr media
Just like we saw a fish once when Kou was there with little Tsukasa.
Tumblr media
The entity is also known as the "creature of the well", since it apparently lived there.
So, we have Amane with tentacles on his face, once again implying that it is an aquatic creature.
Tumblr media
So, in short, there is a possibility of a connection between this entity and the mermaid. Maybe Hanako is already cursed because of the entity, but since the entity has the ability to change shape,
Tumblr media
Hanako can probably hide it or deal with it better than Nene.
Inside Hanako we see tentacles, something theoretically harder to hide than Nene's scales.
In addition, Nene becomes a small fish, while Hanako is with the entity, a very powerful creature that could simply remove or camouflage the mermaid's curse easily, that is, if he is affected by it.
I still think about this "matchmaking scales" part. I have doubts if Hanako did it on his own or if it was something planned by him and Tsukasa to use Nene and make that wish come true.
I still wonder if he can really remember Nene from the past or not.
Anyway, little by little the connection with the mermaid is making sense.
Thank you!!!!!!!!!! Awww how sweet!!! you are so kind!!! you made me happy!!! It was fun talking about this, thanks for the question!!!

summary: request
evan buckley x reader
gif from @evanbuckleydaily
a/n: i’m so sorry for the slow requests, i started school this week but hopefully i’ll be able to write a ton on the weekends! i’m so happy you loved begin again, and i’m thrilled to be able to write this one for you <3
bucks fear of commitment clearly shined through whenever he was with y/n. they had a good thing going, nothing too emotional with amazing sex. the walls that buck had put up around himself halted y/n from going any further into his gentle heart.
all relationships he’s been in have just added another layer of heartbreak onto him. abby, ally, taylor, each of them carved their name into him and then ran with the wind. if it were y/n, he wasn’t sure if he’d be able to make it out of the pit that she could leave him in.
everything about her was fully admired by buck, her luscious hair and how it felt between his fingers. her bright smile and how it shined off any surface. the feeling of her body intwined with his as he gets to have her to himself. the way her soft hands tread over his skin with such ease. there was a ticking time bomb between them, only a matter of time until buck broke into her.
it all flooded through his mind as she collapsed on top of him, coming down from her high as she pants against him. he lightly smiles, running his hands down her back and landing them on her lower spine. buck almost had a love-hate relationship with these nights. he wanted to be able to love her the way he truly wants. he gets a good orgasm out of it, but he doesn’t get the security of her afterwards. he hates feeling her warm skin against his chest while also knowing that she can’t be called his. she lay with the side of her head on him, noticing his spacey eyes and running mind.
“you ok?” she asks, almost making his chest sting with the craving of her attention.
“yeah, of course,” he turns his head and smiles at her, pushing the loose strands of hair out of her eyes. buck was so blinded by his own lust that he could barely see the mutual connection of fondness between them. he couldn’t notice the sparkle in her eyes when he touched her or even said her name. “did you want to stay here tonight? i don’t have work until later tomorrow, so maybe we could have a bit of a longer morning?” he remarks, a light smirk on his face which gets the same expression on y/n’s.
“sure,” she says, grinning. “i’m gonna go put a y-shirt on and maybe sleep for a little, if that’s ok.”
“do whatever you need, i might hop in the shower anyway.”
as she gets up and wanders to find a big shirt of bucks, he feels the hot water form in beads on his skin, relaxing his muscles. he sighs into the steamy air of the bathroom, slightly wishing that y/n could be in the shower with him, kissing every part of her body. however, she wasn’t there with him, instead in his bed close to dozing off.
he turned the shower off, trying his body and just putting on a pair of boxers. when he walked back out of the bathroom, he was shown with the gorgeous view of y/n on his bed, laying on her side with her leg bent to the side. her face was adorably crushed into the side of her (his) pillow. he stood on the side of the bed looking down on her. he dimmed the lights to hopefully make her more comfortable, and slipping the thin sheet over her legs. she only lightly shuffled under his touch, making him believe that she was already knocked out in his bed.
he lay down beside her on the bed, folding the blanket up to his hips and turning on his side. he looked at her lightly parted lips, and the even breaths she was taking in her sleep. y/n, on the other hand, was trying desperately to let sleep take over her mind, but the gentle murmurs from buck invaded her mind instead.
“god, i wish we were more than this,” he whispers, tilting his head to look at her slightly fluttering lashes, the ones he assumed were dreaming at this point. “i don’t think i could ever handle losing you, but there’s no one else i would choose to do this with. i want- i need more than your sex, i want your highs and your lows and everything you have to offer. you’re my favorite person and i don’t see that changing.”
each word echoed in y/n’s brain, trying to think of all the meanings he had being them. it was pretty clear, he seemed pretty enamored with her, but she never realized how much he needed her. she’s not used to guys wanting her for her personality or the life she can give, just her body and what she can offer to them. buck wants more, and he clearly wants to cherish that. that means more than any long night that they’ve had together.
she was almost frozen in the bed, not sure if she should move to let him know she heard him, and that she wants him as much as he wants her. he was like a deer, someone she never wanted to scare away but it could happen nonetheless, and it’s not his fault. she wants to save him from the pain he’s been through in his life, she just hopes he’ll let her.
her eyes don’t open, and she doesn’t speak a word to buck. she simply just turns her body, shuffling the blankets closer to him and leaning herself closer to his touch. her hand scours the sheets, searching for his comforting hand.
when they fingers finally meet and wrap together like a piece of a puzzle, buck knows that she heard him. and he can finally rest at night.

Hello there, love your blog, it's one of my favourite ones, I had a question... I read a comment that said Amy is no longer interested on Sonic anymore and that this is shown on frontiers, that they will make their own paths and lives, is this true?
Hey, anon! I'm glad you enjoy my blog! 🥰💙
No, no, Amy is definitely still madly in love with Sonic 🤭😁 The main reason she's been acting more tame and not so open about it is really just due to character development/maturity. According to Sega, "she's not [physically] chasing after Sonic anymore, but he's still #1 in her heart!" 💙🩷
Sonic Frontiers actually has a decent amount of Sonamy content, but moreso if you squint. 😁 First of all, it tends to address the situation more from Sonic's end, in his moments of saying romance-coded things like "Wish we were sharing an umbrella, Amy," and "Amy, I should've made up my mind sooner." 🥹
Sonic has always been shy about his feelings and therefore never said anything about said feelings to her, and he's more of an "actions speak louder than words" type of guy, but as she shared her desires to share her love with the world, he worried a little that he may have lost his chance. However, Frontiers also makes clear that his friends' plans to go on their own paths were not permanent. Especially seen in Amy's case when she told Sonic her plans, and Sonic replied, "I'm sure you'll do great. I wanna hear all about it when you get back!" 💙
As a bonus, the Final Horizons update treated us to a bit more Sonamy content as well. 🤩 In a conversation between Amy and Sage, Sage identified Amy as "the one who admires Sonic." Amy, with a bit of her younger behavior slipping out, replied with no shortage of sass, "Oh. And are you a fellow admirer? Hm?" 😂
There were a few conversations between Sonic and Amy, during one of which Sonic tried to tell Amy to take care of herself as well as the Koco. Amy ruefully retorted that she could say the exact same thing back to him. Sonic admitted that she got him there, and confidently stated that they would get through this together.
And of course, after all this, my favorite Sonamy moment of the whole game. After everything was over, his friends were restored, and he reunited with them.
Tumblr media
The way Amy laughed and practically launched herself into his arms, Sonic's surprised little "oh!" but the way he welcomed the hug, and kept one arm around her as he high fived Tails and fist bumped Knuckles. 🥰 First of all, it's so obvious Amy had been dying to do that the whole game, and we can imagine it was tough on Sonic to be touch-deprived for an extended period of time once again (after the Metal Virus).
I think the main reason Amy didn't run to hug him when he freed her was because she immediately saw he was somehow struggling and likely didn't want to hurt him. (But then realized she wouldn't have been able to touch him, anyway. 🥲) Although it would've been kinda funny if she HAD tried to hug him and just fell straight through. 😂
I think it's worth noticing that Sonic has had this response to Amy's hugs several times lately. Instead of avoiding them, he lets her hug him and actually puts an arm around her in return. I've got a couple more examples from IDW.

Anyhoo haha, I think I got a little carried away. 😂 I hope this answers your question! Thank you for the ask! 💙

What are your thoughts on the relationship Buck has with Pepa and Isabel? (There is pretty much nothing of it in canon but me personally I think at the very least they like him for how much he loves his Diaz boys. )
And how well do you think Buck speaks/understands Spanish?
hi bestie, once again i am so sorry for neglecting your ask— i feel like i posted multiple little ask games (especially my wip one that i have had absolutely no time to work on any of them for the aks i got) and then immediately got bombarded by real life stress (i was working on two theatrical productions, as well as finishing my last semester of college) as well as fandom stress (all of the bts content that hasn’t proven to be exciting to me in any capacity) and then began to get a barrage of hate anons in my inbox that sent me into a nervous spiral so i am only just now getting to sit down and go through my inbox!
anyway, that long winded explanation out of the way, onto your ask!
I actually love the idea of Pepa and Abuela adopting Buck as their sobrino/nieto respectively because of how close he is with eddie and chris. i really wish we could have gotten to see more of abuela this season (i know ryan said at the beginning of s7 that there was a plotline involving abuela but then it got cut when tim decided to scrap 7b) and possibly see her view on buck and eddie’s relationship after buck came out… i hope though that we get to see more of them in s8, however, especially with chris being in texas, i’d love to see abuela take on a more central role in chris’s story this season, perhaps providing context to eddie and shannon’s relationship that eddie leaves out every time he romanticizes it to chris. I think it would also provide some interesting room to play with abuela and chris talking about buck’s role in chris and eddie’s lives, and possibly getting christopher to see what’s in front of all of them, and then having chris come back to tell them that he loves the family they’ve built and doesn’t want to lose it (which could also provide some angst for buddie if this happens after their feelings realization, and they both refrain from starting a relationship because they think chris doesn’t want that) which could provide a sort of gateway for pepa to swoop in and smack them both on the back of their heads. I know that wasn’t quite what you asked, but i think they have a lot of rook to showcase buck’s relationship with abuela and pepa onscreen, and i hope that it’s shown that he is considered one of their one, further cementing his role in eddie and chris’s lives
as far as buck speaking spanish, i’m sure he has to know some peruvian spanish from working in peru before moving to LA, but there are differences between peruvian spanishand mexican spanish as well as the familial slang that would come with the diazes, so i think buck would pick up bits and pieces of things said by the diazes, and could maybe carry a conversation, but i wouldn’t say he is fluent. i do think eddie/chris/abuela/pepa all pick on him for getting mixed up, or for his accent, even though for a pennsylvania native living in LA, his spanish isn’t terrible.
thank you for the ask! i’m sorry again that it took me so long to get around to it, and sorry that my answer for the first point is probably not quite what you were looking for, but i had a lot of fun thinking about how they could play with buck’s relationship w both abuela and pepa next season (though, i won’t hold my breath for that)

This is probably not the place for this but I'm so sad Claudia died and we didn't get to see more of her relationship with Madeleine.. :(</3 I know she had to die but I was so attached to Claudia and their future. Wish the show had given them a bit more time.. I hope Delainey comes back andCLAUDIA HAUNTS LESTAT'S EVERY WAKING MOMENT to be on topic I don't know how you manage this blog ca I'd be having anxiety every day unable to sleep and throwing fits all over the place damn!!! You handle the complex issues of racism admirably and I'm here for it but I'm glad it ain't me!!
We can talk about it! There's a lot I was thinking of about Claudia and Madeleine anyway.
I mean....obviously the tragedy exists bcuz this happened, especially bcuz it did not *need* to happen. It also shows two women struck down bcuz they were more capable of handling vampirism than the men around them were, even Claudia with all of her immense disadvantages at never (physically) being an adult. She took down Lestat p much on her own *and* was building a happier life after struggling through so much and.....then all this.
I also think something the fandom overlooks is how much agency this relationship gave Claudia. I'm not asking anyone to engage with the age gap stuff if that's a personal issue, but I've found it interesting to compare how this relationship has been treated alongside book relationships with similar issues (which are outright abusive as well).
Fandoms don't tend to care about women anyway, let alone black women, so there's already that. But then there's the issue of the age gap itself. It's hard to tell what could be racially motivated or not since this is a show only relationship and show only fans might not come from the books and have knowledge of how prevalent this theme is in them. It still feels like this is the main relationship in this fandom as a whole tho where age tends to get brought up more (which is "funny" to parallel how much ppl initially complained that Claudia "looked too old" to be a teenager once she was first cast, then again when a darker actress took over the role), or ppl look to blame Claudia for her taste in partners bcuz of Madeleine's past. All the characters, especially white ones, have p fucked up shit going on. Just bcuz ppl want to pretend everything about Lestat is a lie doesn't mean it is, Santiago is also a shithead, it goes on. As I've said in other asks, white women tend to make up fandom, so fandom gets upset when white women are shown as less than perfect somehow too. All of it doesn't surprise me. It's just stuff to observe and take notes on. I feel like ppl dismiss examining Claudia or Madeleine more for several reasons, whereas if they were men, especially white men, they'd be a main feature. Hell, Nicki has gotten more analysis for 2 mins on screen so far than most ppl give to any of this.
Anyway, I'm also looking forward to her coming back to haunt everyone's ass :)
Also thank u for the nice comments<3

sad sebastian aho :(( maybe cheering him up ?
a/n: it was too soon for this sadness ahh.
Tumblr media
When the buzzer went off announcing the very end of the game your heart sank for the team and especially for Sebastian. You knew this was going to be a hard loss for him and you watched him as he skated through the line, shaking everyones hand. You continued watching him as he skated off the ice, his head hung low which told you everything you needed to know.
You were glad that you had flown out here, a big debate you had with yourself beforehand. When the boys had originally come to Florida you thought after two games they would be back but with so much on the line after that third game you had decided to book a quick flight to Florida and got yourself a ticket for the fourth game just in case it was his last.
Sebastian was more than happy to see you when you had gotten there and now he was going to need you after this game. You made your way to the staff parking, finding the bus the team had come on and you quickly found Sebastian. Your arms wrapped around his waist as you placed your chin on his chest, looking up at him. “Hey.” You told him quietly and he gave you a weak small smile as he gave your forehead a quick kiss. “Hey.”
The last thing you wanted was for him to mope around in the hotel room for the night and since your flights were just in the morning you had to come up with something to distract him. Once you got back to the hotel you gave him his time to set all his things back down. “Okay, get changed into regular but comfy clothes.” You told him before he could get too comfortable in bed. “Why?” He asked as yo got changed into much more Florida appropriate clothing. “We’re going for a night walk on the beach. I think the salty air will do you some good.”
He didn’t fight your idea too much, changing into shorts and a tshirt before you two headed out to the closest beach. Your fingers intertwined with his as you both walked towards the warm ocean water. “Regardless of the outcome, you went out there every night and poured your heart into each game. The fans appreciate that and they appreciate you.” You told him.
You didn’t need him to verbally say what he was thinking, you knew your boyfriend well enough to know that not only was he bummed about the loss but that he was more than likely thinking about how he disappointed the fans. “I just wish I could have done more.” He kicked a little at the water, looking down at it as you wrapped your arms around him again. “You did the most you could and I’m proud of you.”
“Thank you, not just for the support you’ve shown all season but for everything else. For this. Bringing me out here knowing it would make me feel better.” He started leading you away from the water so you could both sit on the sand, his arm going around you. “I’m not really sure what I would do without you so I feel like a winner tonight anyways."

i still haven't completely processed EF7 , cause what the fuck was that chapter??
i did not expect you to feed us with another chapter this long but 10k words?? thank you so much for that!! The angst was perfectly written and there was a paragraph where you described how reader felt similar to her surroundings and that's the most beautiful paragraph i had read about someone describing their inner thoughts!! The amount of self-doubts , paired with reader's inability to think of a better way to process her feelings plus reader wanting to stop but don't know how to was so perfectly written. Barbara stole the show again, cause the way she cared about reader and just gave her a hug when reader needed it the most!
Reader seriously deserves a long hug for the backstory you gave her cause wtf😭😭😭
Will their photo be a huge problem in the future?? and i just wanted to kill the person who decided to take one..Just makes me wonder what'll happen after Wednesday releases..
Jenna's family just knowing about her feelings for reader in a single glance was so damn funny 😭💀
i might need more scenes of Reader with Jenna's family cause that was so awkward and cute!!
Also i always ask you to take your time while writing the chapters but this time? you just left us wanting for more!!
Jerks with hearts of gold is seriously my favorite request now! i haven't written anything about it here cause i just keep going back again and again to read it and i still want to savour it all before i ask anything about it.❤️❤️
Hope you had a good birthday!!
Love you❤️
-👾
You, I honestly have no words, I can only thank you for taking your time to write this. You really make my days. Truly, you make writing these even more worth it. 💙💙💙💙
Yeah, I wasn't expecting another 10k+ chapter, but with everything I have planned for this story that might have to be a new standard, unless I want to end up with 50+ chapters 🤣🤣 EF8 is certainly looking like it'll be a long one. Definitely above the average 6-7k length. Just imagine the irony, the story I was on the fence about writing ends up being longer than everything I wrote up until now.
I do feel like a lot can be shown through describing the place a character is usually in. And keep in mind, we are yet to fully get the description of Reader's apartment, that's waiting for Jenna to come in and notice things, just like Reader will take notice of Jenna's parents' place.
Barbara is turning out to be one of my favorite OCs I've ever written, and yeah, Reader needs a long, very long hug. No questions asked!
The photo will be mentioned in chapter 9, and slight spoilers but I think you can all figure out the short-term effects. It gets mentioned on some social media once or twice and then gets forgotten, no big deal, just another child star on what appears to be a date. The future however... Scream 5 comes out, they are fine, not a lot of dedicated shippers willing to dig deep into paparazzi photos from over a year ago at that point. But when Wednesday comes out? All the interviews, panels, all of a sudden there would be hardcore fans going: 'Wait a minute' And before you know it that photo becomes somewhat of a smoking gun, because Reader did just 'randomly' show up at Coachella, not in LA where they could say she came for work and decided to catch up with Jenna, no, she went to Coachella. So, yeah, that photo might be a problem later.
As for Reader with Jenna's family, be careful what you wish for, my dear 👾, it'll happen, but be careful what you wish for.
Jerks with hearts of gold is absolutely my favorite request as well, you have no idea how easy it was to write Work for it. I think I got it done in like 3 hours. It's just, I kinda regret putting it after Scream 6 because I'm almost tempted to turn it into a series. Anyway, I have plenty of things to write already, I don't think another series would be a good idea. 🤣🤣
I had a good birthday, thanks 😁💙 Love you too! 💙💙💙

Interlink
(I was ORIGINALLY gonna work on WYN today, but nooooo, my brain decided to think up a really cool idea to fit into my sona lore. I’m not disappointed about this since it sounds pretty neat conceptually)
After shaking hands with the god in front of them, a light filled up the traveller’s vision.
After the light cleared, they found themselves in the centre of a brand new city; and as they looked around, they noticed its citizens having various unique physical properties.
“It’s quite a unique sight, don’t you think?”
The God that granted their wish spoke from behind them, with the traveller quickly turning around to greet and reply to them,
“Yeah, this place looks like it’s prospering despite how everything looks overgrown. Looks like everyone here also has inter-dimensional powers like me.”
“That’s because they do. This dimension is one that I like to call ‘Interlink City’. A hub world for those who’ve become dimension travellers. They all mostly reside here when they want to take a break from it, and they also consider this dimension their primary home.”
“I guess that makes sense. Dimension hopping’s fun and all, but ya sometimes need to take a break.” The traveller didn’t really know what else to say after that. They got their wish, and the starry God was still in front of them, looking like they wanted them to ask another question. “So… what now?”
The God chuckled, “Well, I have a feeling you’d want to explore the city before you start dimension hopping, and I completely understand that. Most people decide to do that when they first arrive here anyways. But I have one more question; I’ve given all my other dimension travellers one extra gift that’ll help them with their journeys, and I’m sure you’d wish for one too. So what gift would you want-“
“I want to fly! With wings attached around my waist that are pink red & vibrant cyan respectively!” The traveller quickly answered.
“I figured, you’ve always wanted that; even before you’ve wished for inter-dimensional travel, haven’t you?”
The traveller chuckled, “Yeah, I always thought that would be a good power. The wings are just an extra bonus.”
“Then so be it.” The starry god snapped their fingers as they finished saying that. A light once again engulfed the traveller’s vision.
And to their joy, they feel a new weight around the back of their waist, which is most definitely thanks to the new wings gifted to them.
“Well then, I have to go now. Enjoy your new powers, Anni.”
The god faded away once they finished their farewell, leaving the traveller to explore the new city.
———
As they explored the city, the traveller grew more and more astonished over everything;
The city’s streets are filled with a multitude to bulletin boards, most definetly to post stories and drawings about the worlds they’ve travelled to, as shown by a brunette girl with deer antlers and someone else with black hair & demon horns both posting art onto one of the many boards within the city.
Alongside that, there were a multitude of murals spread out amongst the city, with one of the notable one’s being one strewn across a tall building that showed all the colours of the sky fading into one another.
There was also a bunch of stores selling a bunch of shoelaces that were supposedly stolen by a president from some reason. Maybe that’s code for dimension travellers to recognize each other in other dimensions.
The traveller felt more at home in this city compared to their original home the more they explored the city, even purchasing new clothes and accessories to coincide with their new wings.
And as the sky darkened, they purchased themselves a small dorm-like apartment to rest in.
Sure, there wasn’t much in it considering the fact that they just moved into it, but the traveller has a good feeling that they could find some other furniture and items to decorate it, even if they aren’t from the city.
They were content with where they were right now, and as the city’s noise lulled them, they ultimately fell asleep, excited for what tomorrow has to offer.

@greens-your-color prompt # 90 - HOGWARTS
summary: lily is faced with the reality of severus' condition and how it opens up different paths for the both of them.
wc: 3296
--
“So what do you think then?”
“Of what?”
“Hogwarts. I mean…we both got letters. You’ve had yours for a while.”
“Which is proof that I actually am older, thanks very much.”
“Severus. Be serious.”
“Well, I wasn’t joking.”
Lily huffed out an annoyed sigh. She clenched her fingers tight around the thick envelope she had in her hand. The same one Professor McGonagall had handed to her just that morning, nearly identical to the envelope that Severus had received on his own birthday just two weeks past. Her name glistened in green ink across the back:
Miss L. C. Evans
The Corner Bedroom with Lots of Sun
10 Hartington Rd.
Chiswick, London
She hadn’t opened it yet, and had merely satisfied herself with rubbing her finger against the raised wax seal. She knew what it said, anyway. She had read Severus’ own letter (addressed to Mr S. T. Evans, The Green Room at the End of the Hall)several times already since he had a habit of leaving it out in random corners of the house. She suspected he had also gone through it several times, although she had yet to see him actually take more than a passing glance at it.
Severus himself was at his desk, busy with an RC car that he had taken apart and was putting back together ‘with modifications’. He didn’t seem to be the least bit bothered with what Lily was trying to ask him. That was the most annoying bit. Lily already felt fit to explode, and her brother, who she felt should have felt the same at the very least, was carrying on with his usual business. It was, she silently fumed, completely unacceptable.
“Severus, you know what Professor McGonagall said—”
“She said lots of things. You have to be more specific.”
Lily narrowed her eyes at her brother, quickly losing patience. “Well, are you coming to Hogwarts with me or not?” she asked, her tone more than a little snippy. It didn’t seem as though Severus was even listening to her but she knew that he was, because his hands suddenly stopped fiddling with the chassis of the car that he was trying to snap closed.
Professor McGonagall had given Severus and their parents only until the end of the month to decide whether or not Severus wanted to be admitted into the school. That was tomorrow, and none of them had so far given any indication that they had made a decision, despite the old professor having shown up again earlier that day to give Lily her letter. Because they had already been given the full introduction to Hogwarts during Severus’ birthday, she hadn’t bothered to do the same with Lily, although she had offered to answer any further questions Lily had that had yet to be addressed.
The only thing Lily wanted to know, really, was whether or not her brother was going to come with her.
“Do you want me to go?” Severus asked. He refused to look at her, and was fiddling with a piece of sellotape that he’d peeled off of God-knows-where. The question made Lily feel several emotions at once.
“What kind of a stupid question is that?” she said, suddenly feeling defensive. “Of course I do!”
Severus hummed under his breath and proceeded to put the RC car back together. He’d previously fixed it so that it could now zoom up steep inclines, and had also wired it a certain way so that it would play the Macarena when it got to a certain speed. The car looked ridiculous now with its bits and bobs but Lily had no doubts that whatever Severus had added on to it this time would still work.
She flopped down on the braided rug beside Mercutio and waited for her brother to respond further. She knew he was going to; when Severus was thinking over his words he jiggled his legs, and the way he was going now was making his desk rattle.
It wasn’t that he couldn’t go to Hogwarts. When Professor McGonagall had explained Hogwarts in its entirety to them and their parents for the first time, she had done it in such a way that the people they had all met up and down Diagon Alley and St. Mungo’s never had, which was that she answered all their questions clearly and honestly, and it was only then that they all began to realize the implications of going there would be, especially for Severus.
It was…all in all, a typical school, but there were flying lessons, Charms classes, moving staircases, even poltergeists. It was everything Lily looked forward to seeing and experiencing, especially after she had been exposed to the Wizarding World for a while now, but also ones she knew would be a challenge for her brother. At the moment he was on an indefinite trial run for potions to help dampen his accidental magic whenever he had a fit and had to submit to testing once a month. That didn’t even count the times when he had to go to hospital just because his magic was going mad due to his epilepsy. Lily wasn’t sure what would happen if he moved up north. Would the Healers have to go to him? Would that also mean he’d be excused from classes or study period? What if he had a fit in school?
“I can help keep an eye on you, you know, in Hogwarts. Even if we were in different Houses. Maybe I can even ask them if we could be in the same one,” Lily said, voicing what she’d already decided for herself. Severus threw her a look from where he was sitting, looking bewildered.
“It’s school, Lils. You’re not there to play nursemaid.” Severus sounded annoyed. Lily frowned at him.
“It’s not as if it’s going to be any different than how it would be when we’re here,” she countered, fully prepared to win the argument she knew was about to take place. Their family had already gotten used to certain routines that usually revolved around Severus’ needs. Admittedly, it was not something Lily always looked forward to doing: hospital stays, checkups, tests, and emergencies took up a lot of time and were all very tiring, not to mention, scary. But she was used to it, somewhat. She knew what to do at least if something happened. Whether or not they’d be at home or at Hogwarts, how different would it be? Wouldn’t it even be better since they would be among wizards all the time? At least there no Muggles would be at risk, and the Ministry wouldn’t have to keep warning them about the Statute of Secrecy…
Severus snorted derisively. “It wouldn’t even be nearly the same. It’d be way different.”
“I know how to handle your stuff!”
“Lily, you can’t call 999 if anything happens up there. You heard what McGonagall—”
“Professor McGonagall.”
“—Professor McGonagall,” Severus rolled his eyes in a way that she knew would have made Mum scold him if she’d seen, “said. Muggle things don’t work in Hogwarts. And you can’t be with me all the time.”
“Well, you have Mercutio, don’t you?” Her brother’s service dog had a special magical collar that also acted as a portkey in emergencies, and was trained to transport Severus to St. Mungo’s in those circumstances, as well as alert their parents. “He’ll be right there with you. You wouldn’t need to call 999.”
“Yeah, but it’s dangerous for him to be there as well.” Severus lifted his leg up from the floor to rest his foot on the chair. He hugged his knee to his chest. “He’s not a magical pet. Professor McGonagall said she doesn’t know if the magic will affect him. I don’t want to hurt him.”
“So, what are you saying then?” Lily’s hand had found Mercutio and she rubbed his belly as she stared resolutely at her brother. Her stomach had started doing funny little flips as the conversation went on. “Are you going or not?”
“It’s not that I don’t want to go.” Severus didn’t look at her as he spoke. He looked defeated, almost. The same way he did when the Healers and doctors wanted him to take something nasty that they said could help him. “But I don’t think I can.”
Lily felt her face grow warm at his words, already indignant on his behalf. The hold she had on her Hogwarts letter tightened considerably.
“Of course you can!” she snapped. “Who said you can’t? Professor McGonagall already said you can!”
“Will you listen?” Severus turned to her, looking more than a little angry now. Lily stuck her tongue out at him.
“It’s my birthday,” she reminded him. “If you’re rotten to me today, I will tell on you.”
Severus groaned but then stood up and, to her surprise, went to join her on the rug. He stretched out on his back, sandwiching Mercutio between them. Mercutio, great big loyal brat that he was, moved away from Lily to edge up against his charge.
“I want to go to Hogwarts more than anything in the world.” Severus said, in a voice so soft that Lily wasn’t sure he was even speaking.
“So why don’t you?” Lily softened her tone to match her brother’s. Her fingers started twisting around a loose piece of thread that hung off her shirt sleeve. “I mean…it’ll be really fun, Sev. We’ll be among wizards 24/7 and won’t need to worry about the Statute or anything. And we’ll be learning magic properly. Next time we go to St. Mungo’s we can brag to Healer Livingston that we won’t need the special wards anymore for uncontrolled magic.”
She had meant for it to be comforting, but that sentiment quickly melted away when she saw Severus’ expression.
“You won’t.” Severus gave her a crooked smile. “But I will.”
“It won’t be forever, surely—” she felt herself flush as she desperately attempted to cover up her faux pas, but Severus was already waving a hand to stop her.
“Lily! Stop. Don’t even say it. You know it’s forever.”
“No, it’s not!”
Although there were times when talking about Severus’ condition was all right and normal, other times it made her unspeakably angry. This was clearly one of those times.
“You don’t know that it’s forever,” she repeated. “The doctors and Healers have all said there’s still a chance you can outgrow it or get rid of it.”
“Muggles can.” Severus said, addressing her as though she were a small child. Lily resented him for it. “I won’t be able to, unless they figure out the proper potions for it.” He shrugged, his bony shoulders nearly reaching up to his ears. “I’d have to keep going to St. Mungo’s and doing all the tests and things too anyway, and I can’t do it if I’m at Hogwarts.”
His logic was still unclear to her. “That’s not true,” Lily protested. “Surely there’s an infirmary there of some sort for ill students? And the Healers can go to Hogwarts if they need to.”
“Yes, but…I don’t want to be different. You heard McGonagall: I’m a ‘special case’.” He made air quotes around the word and made it somehow sound even more sarcastic. “There’s been no one like me at Hogwarts, so they’re also not sure how to handle it. I can’t even Floo on most days…what’s going to happen when we have to learn to Apparate?”
“Well, we adjust. Why wouldn’t they?” Forget indignance; she felt rage. Was he saying that he didn’t expect people to change up some things to accommodate him? Was that what McGonagall had meant? She couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t, in the first place. She shook her head, desperate to maintain her stance. “I’m sure you’re worrying over nothing. Hogwarts is more than capable of making arrangements for you.”
Lily understood the struggle of being in Muggle school with the condition Severus had, but Hogwarts was a magic school, for Merlin’s sake. Surely they could — would — accommodate her brother’s needs. What kind of horrid school wouldn’t? Especially since it was magic that was causing all this trouble in the first place.
“But that’s just it, Lils. I don’t want them to adjust. I don’t want…people staring and pointing and giving me a label like…I don’t know. The boy who can’t control his magic? The boy who falls to the floor at random and has fits? Epilepsy isn’t a wizarding illness, remember? They don’t know about it at all, and I don’t want to explain it to wizarding kids. It’s hard enough to do it with the adults.”
Lily was finding it hard not to snap at her brother. “So you won’t go because you’re scared?” she said, knowing the word would trigger him into getting angry. She needed his anger now, to goad him into changing his mind, but to her surprise, he just shrugged.
“I am scared,” he said. “There are too many unknown things. I don’t want to hurt other people, or Mercutio. And I don’t want to be hurt.” He made a face. “You’re a pain but I don’t want people to make fun of you because of me either.” His gaze traveled elsewhere, refusing to look at her face. “They already do that here, sometimes. I’ve heard them.”
It was Lily’s turn to roll her eyes. Her brother was seriously underestimating what she was capable of. “I think I can handle myself, thank you very much.”
Severus smirked. “You’ll end up crying every day and have eyes so swollen you wouldn’t be able to see with them.”
Lily’s eyes widened. She hated it when her siblings teased her about how easily she cried.
“Hey—!”
“And I’d have to write Mum and Dad and tell them about it, and Toons is going to freak because our owls will probably fly into her classroom by mistake.”
Lily gasped, this time in delight. She and Severus had already gotten their own owls, back on Severus’ birthday. Needless to say, Petunia had not been pleased, always nattering on about feathers and droppings and such, even though Apollo and Artemis were extremely well-behaved, in Lily’s opinion.
“You think they would go to her though? If they can’t get to Mum and Dad?”
Severus grinned. “Undoubtedly.”
They shared a giggle at Petunia’s expense but when Lily caught her breath, tears had already pooled at the corners of her eyes. She quickly sat up, wiping at her face furiously with her shirt sleeve.
“I won’t go then.” She declared. “I don’t want to be there without you. Oh Sev! It’s so unfair!”
Severus looked up at her with a stunned expression. He pulled himself up to a sitting position and glared at her.
“Don’t say such horrible things, Lily! You want to go. I know you do. And you should! It’ll just be like how we’re already doing school here—”
“No it’s not!” Lily snapped at him. “You know it isn’t. It’s going to be completely different! How would you be able to stand still learning Maths and History and Geography when you could be learning about spells and potions and how to make things float! It isn’t the same, Severus. So either we both go or none of us goes.”
Severus sighed. “You’re being ridiculous.”
Lily sniffled. Even though she had already decided she could still feel her heart breaking. “I’ll tell Mum and Dad later.”
“You’re being stupid.” Severus said, but his tone wasn’t as sharp as it usually would have been. “Lily. You have to go to Hogwarts. You’re a witch. There’s no reason for you not to go. And besides…” A mischievous glint suddenly twinkled in Severus’ eyes. “You need to go. You don’t have a choice.”
Lily turned to her brother to frown at him. Quickly she wondered if he’d gone soft in the head within the last ten minutes that they’d been talking. “What?”
“Think about it: if you go to Hogwarts and learn all the stuff, we can invent even more new spells and things to test out when you come home. It would drive Healer Livingston mad.”
The prospect of unleashing havoc in St. Mungo’s just to see Healer Livingston’s face was too tempting. Lily bit her lip. “Sev, you have to be learning all this stuff with me! I can’t stand knowing you won’t be able to. And I’m not a very good teacher anyway. I can’t come home and suddenly just teach you everything!”
“Who says you’d have to?” Severus had a glint in his eye that Lily already knew forewarned trouble. “Lils…you’re a genius! Clever little crybaby.”
“What are you talking about?”
“I won’t be going to Hogwarts, but I will be asking McGonagall if I can still take up the lessons that you lot are going to take. You remember when Healer Aggarwal had that patient at the Spells Damage ward who was a private tutor? He was tutoring wizarding kids, so there must be someone they can get to keep me up to speed with whatever you’re taking up. It can’t be that hard. And I learn fast.”
Lily rolled her eyes, but couldn’t really contest Severus’ claim. Her brother was clever, and frighteningly so. She didn’t doubt that he could learn magic as well as he had already taken to Muggle lessons.
“We’ll tell her then. Tomorrow. You’ll be going to Hogwarts in the fall, but we’ll be getting two sets of whatever books and things you’re buying for school. I’m not going to be falling behind.”
His tone was decidedly final, and somehow, Lily felt comforted by the compromise. She had wanted Severus to be alongside her at Hogwarts, learning magic, but logically knew that Severus was right to refuse the invitation. Besides, in this way…it would be nice to have a space that was just hers and where she wasn’t reduced to ‘Severus’ sister’. She loved her brother but it did get tiring to live under his shadow, or relegating herself to the side all the time since his needs came first.
Suddenly, the whole plan didn’t sound mad at all.
“Are you sure then?” she asked, not wanting for Severus to tease her for changing her mind so suddenly about not going. He was already grinning.
“Positive! Back me up tomorrow so Mum and Dad will also agree. They probably will anyway. I don’t think they want me to be so far away either but they’re scared of keeping me back.”
“And if Professor McGonagall doesn’t agree?”
“Oh she will,” Severus said confidently. “She looked rather impressed that I could already do level 1 Transfigurations.”
“You cheat!” Lily said hotly. “We both can do it! Did you tell her Andi and Tonks have been teaching us all these years?”
“Well she didn’t ask.” Severus grinned. This time he looked at Lily. “It’ll be fine, Lils. You can go to Hogwarts then tell me all about it. I’ll learn magic here and then when you come home, I’ll blast your arse out the door.”
Lily colored. “Rude!” She got to her feet. “I’m telling Mum and there’ll be no cake for you after dinner.”
The echoes of Severus’ laughter trailed her as she left his bedroom, and despite her annoyance, Lily smiled at the sound. She hugged her Hogwarts letter to her chest, finally allowing herself to feel excited at the prospect of her attending.
She was going to Hogwarts! And Severus was going to be staying where he was safest. Even if McGonagall didn’t agree Lily had already decided to teach him her lessons herself, or maybe Andi could. Or knew someone who could. Either way it wasn’t the end.
Everything would be just fine.
end.

“I wouldn’t do that if I were you.”
Tumblr media
Prompt: “I wouldn’t do that if I were you.”
Fandom: Endeavour
Pairing: Morse/Jakes
It had been about two months since the incident with the warmth eater, and during that time, Peter had seen quite a bit of Endeavour Morse Thursday. He was usually the one to let him in, always with a smile on his lips (that smile that had no business looking as attractive as it did), and once or twice he had been early enough that he’d been forced to participate in family breakfast because Mrs. Thursday wouldn’t be gainsaid and had heard about what he was working on, since the so-often praised hatstand rule apparently did not count when it came to Joan and Sam listening to what their brother got up to.
Now that he had officially met him and had proven that, while he was perhaps not the most talented when it came to handling certain things, he was not prejudiced against magic or those who had it, the Old Man too had become more communicative when it came to Endeavour, and it quickly transpired that he was just as proud of him as of his siblings. And small wonder, consider he was relatively high up in the Guard considering his youth.
Quite frankly, Peter was busy with pretending to himself that he was not in trouble, which technically, it wasn’t, because really, what had changed? He now knew the oldest Thursday and what he did, and that was all.
Only it was not because Endeavour Thursday also happened to be incredibly pretty and very friendly and polite and –
Oh God, he was in trouble. Thankfully, it was the kind of trouble he could keep to himself and no one else would ever have to know about.
Or at least so he thought until one fateful day.
Even before all of this, it had been a habit of DI Thursday’s to now and then disappear during the day, which office gossip had correctly attributed to him checking up on and helping out Endeavour.
Today, however, they had been rather busy with paperwork, and when Peter brought him another file, he looked up and sighed and said, “Jakes, would you terribly mind bringing these to Endeavour? I’m busy with paperwork…”
“Of course” he said, not quite sure what was expected of him, but he simply pulled out a woollen bag out from under his desk. “Found a few hex bags today… I don’t think they are dangerous, but Endeavour should take a look at them. Just don’t open the bag.”
He nodded and took the bag, as he couldn’t help but thinking this was in some ways a proof of trust.
Once he had arrived, he was quickly shown to Endeavour Thursday’s office and told to wait. He carefully put the bag on the desk, intent on proving that he could behave around magic if he wished to…
Only to fail spectacularly at it again when he got bored.
He was simply walking around the office when he spotted the small cube out of glass on Endeavour’s desk and leaned over it just to look.
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you.”
Endeavour had entered without him being aware of it, and he jerked back guiltily. “Why? Won’t… take my warmth too, will it?”
He chuckled. “No, no, just a precaution. Spells in glass can be a bit volatile, and if one doesn’t know what to do…”
“I see” he said helplessly then pressed on with, “Your father wanted me to bring these to you… he called them hex bags? Told me not to look, so I didn’t.”
“Ah. Good, good.” Another of these devastating smiles. “Thank you very much, Peter.”
He swallowed and wished he was currently having a cigarette.
He looked into the bag. “Ah, yes. Seems like they’re harmless and spent anyway…” he waved a hand over the bag. “All done.” He looked at Peter. “It’s gone twelve. Lunch?”
He swallowed again. Great. Now they were having – no, they were of course having lunch like he and DI Thursday. What was he thinking?
It would have been very impolite not to, though, so he accepted.
The pub Endeavour led him to proved to be full of magic users and creatures, but really, what else had he expected?
“So how’s it going?” he asked for lack of a better topic.
“Oh you know, the usual” Endeavour shrugged. “Much to do, but I knew there would be when I joined…”
But the woman with the completely black eyes (demon, Peter remembered) behind the bar had spied them and come to greet his… friend.
“Endeavour! I haven’t seen you all week!”
“My apologies, Charity” he said simply as she dragged him into a hug.
She then pulled back and grinned. “And who is your handsome date?”
At least for once since they met, Peter was not the only one blushing.

heyo :) anon who requested sick!reader here
the work was absolutely painful (💀) but that's okay, that's what I wanted anyway, and you're absolutely amazing, already said that in a previously sent message, but gurl I couldn't tell you how much I actually like the reader dying trope, and how I kind of had that in the back of my mind while requesting but didn't say it, so thank you for that once again AND ALSO I've been reading all those requests you're getting for a follow up fic where reader is reincarnated and sukuna finds them but ykw ikindofreallywantreadertostaydead 🥺👉👈 (it feels so stupid for wanting something other ppl don't want 😭💀) like how do I explain it- I just kind of hoped for sukuna to live with that grief yk, of not having shown her enough love and then losing her..idk maybe it's just me, but I really don't want her coming back
BUT ALSO this is your work and hence completely your choice, you've given birth to the character, ofc it's up to you what you do with it lol, I'll read it anyway 😭 I really love your works lmao
and also, pls don't shut up and no you didn't go overboard with it, it was just ✨perfect✨
Ahhhh anon I'm so grateful for the opportunity to write that request and unleash my evil angsty side for once 😌💅 I'm glad you enjoyed it!!
And I totally get where you're coming from with wanting reader to stay dead!! As I mentioned in one of the previous asks, I LOVED making Sukuna suffer 😭 Just him regreting every single time he was disgusting towards reader since the start of their little thing. Him wishing he could redo everything again, wishing he wasn't so brutal because he never had to be brutal at all, reader would've loved him either way. Reader ofc wouldn't even hold it against him but he does, he can't forgive himself.. and then he goes back to being a monster, because there's nothing left for him to be human for. I love the idea of being so special to him, being singlehandedly both the reason he became human (in a metaphorical sense) and the reason he went back to his old ways.
But the reincarnation scenario lures me for two reasons, one is how much there is to explore within the idea. Like how do they meet? Who recognizes who? Does reader remember him instantly or does it take time? How does Sukuna go about retrieving them, does he just snatch and steal and take like he always does, or does he try it differently? And how does reader react to all this, what if they reject him in this lifetime? DOES SUKUNA HAVE ENOUGH RIZZ TO GET READER TO STAY WHEN HE'S NOT FORCING THEM??? Lorddd my brain is going places and I love a prompt that gets me thinking.
And the main reason: I really badly want an excuse to write Sukuna being uncharacteristically nice from the start. I always feel an obligation to do him at least a bit of justice by making him cold in the beginning, but reincarnated reader gives me an excuse to make him gentle, esp with nsfw stuff 🥺 And everyone knows I'm a sucker for gentle Sukuna...
BUT anyways, even if you don't like this idea pls feel free to pretend part 2 never happens and is a totally separate little scenario!! Nothing is official canon in this little universe of my works and ppl are free to pick and choose which fics are canon and which aren't in their interpretations ✨

(to punish him for not accepting Terry's apology earlier.)
Of all the Knights and Pawns revelations, this one is the most hurtful. By far. Punishing your own spouse—after you have raped them, with your own children only rooms away, because they didn’t forgive you the next day—by fucking someone else. Just. OMG. That’s so terrible on every way. Drunk or not that’s not the point; that’s the excuse for being so incredibly, disgustingly vindictive. Then, after, keeping the cheating hush hush for several years, and having your spouse—who by then has forgiven you, given you two more beautiful kids, and still continues to love you—find out by having someone else, an outsider, tell them at a funeral. Out of the blue. So now, another person knows, so now there’s embarrassment and shame too that this domestic issue is known outside of the family.
I don’t think there are words enough for how disgusting and foul and most of all—incredibly cruel and deeply abusive—Terry is for doing these things. It’s beyond awful in every single way. The sheer amount of emotional distress Daniel has to go through because of this total asshole.
I suppose Daniel would only become the perfect spouse if he had just forgiven Terry the next day after what happened that night—then Terry wouldn’t have had to go off the rails even more and punish him!! See, it’s all Daniel’s fault of course.
🤢 🤮
Makes me almost wish Daniel had ended up with Kumiko or Johnny or even Chozen in this verse. None of them—not even Johnny—would ever do something like this, canon included. Hell, I highly doubt canon!Kreese would stoop this low.
(He always asked himself if he wasn't good enough, somehow, but he's not too bothered by it) Arghhhh. I know he’s not bothered by it, but just the fact that he asks himself this question in the first place is awful. Clearly the poor thing who does so much and really is a wonderful spouse is either not being shown and told how much he’s loved, how good he is—or he has some deep insecurity thanks to Terry. Maybe all at once.
(But that fear soon proves unjustified.) Uh, okay. So Terry is nice to him after spilling the beans. How kind of him. 🙄 I hate that Daniel even felt scared, that he wondered if Terry was gonna act like a dick after…well, acting like a dick. Honestly, the parts of the fic where Terry gets nasty gives me domestic violence vibes. He sucks.
(It makes him feel lonely and unappreciated) 😭 😭 😭 Ooof that stings. Daniel of all people, even in canon, needs to be shown and told that’s he’s loved and appreciated. The moment those affirmations are taken from him…
(the puppies are BIG MAD at Daddy for that. Not. Again.) No no, puppies, by all means! He deserves it. Which makes me ask—do the older puppies know what’s up? Or do they at least suspect? Sam maybe. Even Robby considering how he’s a Mama’s boy.
Arghhh. I just wanna give Daniel all the cuddles and snuggles. He’s too sweet for all this misery.
Anyway, those are my thoughts. And I just wanted to say this is 1000% not hate. I very much enjoy this story, very much enjoy all the installments (even when they hurt!), and very much enjoy the world building, and still want them to be happy, curse my nasty Silverusso heart. I also very much enjoy your writing, and again, love this one in particular! So thank you very much for writing it, even if I now dislike Terry a lot lol.
Anyway, Daniel could do much better than Terry Silver here. That man will never deserve having this cutiepie in this life. Not one bit.
Nonnie, first off, thank you for this incredibly kind and heartfelt message. Writers always want to evoke a response in people, and it's entirely fine if that response is anger at one of the characters. I do the same! So no hate, I get it <3
As for Terry - he married Daniel at gunpoint, knowing full well the boy didn't want him and the family wanted him dead. You'd need to be a certain kind of entitled and dismissive of other people's feelings to do that. Truly considerate people don't do that. They don't. So, did I expect that to never rear its head?
But he's sweet and loving and kind - yeah, because he wants to be. He wants a home, he wants genuine love, and he's arrogant enough to think that he should get it whatever he does. Oh, sure, he'll apologise, if only for himself, because he does feel guilty. But this whole marriage was begun on his turf, and he completely expects it to stay that way, because... Well, because he wants it to. And what Terry wants, Terry gets, that's how it works!
And then Daniel doesn't play. He straight up leaves, and that is not allowed. Like Michael standing up to him wasn't allowed. And he can't do anything and he feels bad and worried and vulnerable and other people are supposed to make that right for him and they're not. If he can't take Daniel, he'll take someone else that'll show him....
(Did Don LaRusso expect this would happen? He factored it in, he can't not have. But he needed a few years to get his strength back, after which he'd dispose of that Irishman and take his family home if need be... Conveniently forgetting that caro Daniele would again have to be hurt in the process!)
But now, there's love. Such profound love, because you can't marry Daniel LaRusso and not open up a well of love inside yourself you had no idea existed. Doesn't happen. And when Terry bodily feels the difference between his Danny and some other omega... after feeling the absolute shock in his house without that sweet boy.... How shaken his pups are without their Mama, how bereft he feels without his baby son, too...
Finally his ego shuts up long enough for his heart to feel "You dun fucked up, you lowlife." Nobody save John Kreese would ever tell him this and John Kreese he also doesn't always heed.
Should he have known this before? Of course. But people who understand this, in their soul, don't become Mob bosses, and if they do, they don't force people into marriage with them. In fact, a lot of people like that don't even realise what they're doing then, they simply go "huh?" when their wives put rat poison in their food.
The biggest issue now is that Terry knows he's had a change of heart - he really has - but in the ten years in between, Daniel can't know that. At any point, Terry can do something like that again and then where will he be? So in a way, it is a blessing in disguise because not only has Terry not done something violent to him again, after this happens and Daniel again decides to wait and see - he doesn't change. He doesn't have a tantrum, he doesn't try to get back at him, he doesn't get dismissive, he sincerely apologises and explains and in a very backwards way, this is actually a relief to Daniel because at least it gives him the opportunity to say: "Hey asshole, what did I ever do to you?"
And Terry is scared out of his mind because he knows, viscerally, what he stands to lose, he knows what it cost to get it back and he knows that he probably couldn't do it again.
So yes, Daniel is hurt and puppies are incensed - by now, the eldest are 16, 15 and 14 years old, Robby is nearly 13, and people at that age don't accept any excuses. They haven't had to compromise and they definitely don't understand why anyone should have to. If Mama inexplicably doesn't murder Daddy in his bed, they're not letting him get away with it. Sammy, Yasmin and Eli remember very well how Mama and Daddy had a huge fight and had to go away forever to make up. And they remember the feeling of being so upset when Mama was. No, in their way, they're tearing Terry a new one. For Daddy to endanger their safe haven, they won't have it and there's four or them and only one of him.
